This banknote belongs to the No Cap Series, 8th Issue. While the majority of notes from this series are known to be modified or repaired, this specific example remains in its original, natural condition after nearly 87 years. The signatures present on the notes are found in Persian only. For a complete reference, please also view the 5, 20, 50, and 100 (one Pahlavi) denominations from the same series.
Note: The 100, 500, and 1,000 Rials banknotes issued by the Bank Melli Iran in 1938 (Solar Hijri 1317) are often equated to One, Five, and Ten Pahlavi, respectively. These notes are highly sought after in all states of preservation due to their historical significance. Instances in Uncirculated (UNC) condition are exceptionally rare and seldom encountered on the market.
