You are kindly buying one single note from 1944 in a Very Fine (VF) condition. This note is in its natural condition.

Second series banknotes (50, 100, 500 and 1000 Rials) from the Mohammadreza Pahlavi era are extremely rare. Examples in Uncirculated (UNC) condition are especially scarce and seldom seen. The natural quality of this note (with no pressing, cleaning or repair) is highly collectible.

AI says:
"Imperial purple refers to the ancient, reddish-purple dye known as Tyrian purple, which was extremely expensive and worn by royalty, emperors, and high-ranking officials. Its association with power comes from the difficulty and cost of its production, which involved extracting a small amount of mucus from thousands of sea snails to create the vibrant and long-lasting colour.
