This is the highest denomination and largest note (by size) from Reza Shah Pahlavi (1938). There are several folds and very small tears as seen the pictures. We expect a PMG Grade 30- 35 The note is in its natural condition.

The 100, 500, and 1,000 Rials banknotes issued by the Bank Melli in 1938 (Solar Hijri 1317) are often equated to One, Five, and Ten, respectively. These notes are highly sought after in all states of preservation due to their historical significance. Instances in Uncirculated (UNC) condition are exceptionally rare and seldom encountered on the market.
