This is the highest denomination and largest note (by size) from the King I (1938). There are several folds and very small tears as seen the pictures. Some very minor filling in the edge. No repair inside the frame. The quality is very Fine (VF) to Extremely fine . We expect a PMG Grade 35- 40.
This note features a Persian serial number and a distinctive red seal, marking it as the final issued 10 Pahlavi series.

The 100, 500, and 1,000 Rials banknotes issued by the Bank Melli in 1938 (Solar Hijri 1317) are often equated to One, Five, and Ten, respectively. Instances in Uncirculated (UNC) condition are exceptionally rare and seldom encountered on the market.
